early summer (2020)
Remember the first summer of the pandemic? We were challenged to show off the best parts of staying home, with summer fun by the pool, picnicking in the backyard, and more warm-weather classics.
This omnichannel campaign extended to a landing page and app experience too, driving recipe downloads and sales. I worked with Giant’s UX lead to develop customer journeys to achieve campaign/business priorities. It was one of Giant’s best early summer periods ever, with record spending above and beyond elevated spending that most retailers saw that year.

On television, Giant was building excitement for mid-summer. It’s when local produce is at its peak and the number of local foods and products in stores roughly doubles. I wrote a spot that sings Mid-Atlantic summer and feels like home to me.
